PathPaint
PathPaint (2017–present) is an ongoing software art project by Andrew Rosinski for creating computer paintings through the recombination of found media, authored graphics, gestural input, and computational processes. Developed as both a web application and an artistic system, PathPaint treats software not simply as a tool, but as an active collaborator and medium in itself: a programmable canvas where painterly action, algorithmic behavior, temporality, and digital materiality converge. Since 2017, the project has produced hundreds of computer paintings through studio practice, public workshops, and participatory exhibitions, positioning software as an aqueous conduit for human-computer co-creation.
